Analysis with journalist Sead Rizvanović and report from the Zelensky’s visit to the summit in Tirana
The guest in this edition of Labyrinth is fellow journalist Sead Rizvanović, with whom we analyzed the military situation, as well as potential hotspots such as the Transnistria region in Moldova. Rizvnovic says there is a real threat of the war spilling over. Labyrinth was also in Tirana to follow the first visit of the Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to the Balkans. The summit organized by Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama was attended by all Balkan leaders, as well as the President of Moldova, Maya Sandu. The President of North Macedonia, Stevo Pendarovski, said in a short statement that everyone is there to confirm their support for Ukraine. The President of Serbia, Aleksandar Vucic, who is the only leader in the region who refuses to impose sanctions on Russia, also stopped briefly. Although we insisted on an answer, Vucic in his style (didn't) answer the question. A Declaration in support of Ukraine was also signed, in which several terms were changed at the request of the Serbian president.

Serbian students are not giving up on blockades. After the 24-hour blockade of Belgrade’s Avtokomanda, Novi Sad will be blocked this weekend. Three months have passed since the terrible accident that took 15 lives and the same number of months since the student blockades that woke up all of Serbia.
In this episode of Labyrinth, we talk to Aleksandra Krstic, a professor at the Faculty of Political Sciences in Belgrade, who was also a candidate for a member of REM, the regulatory body for the supervision of electronic media, but together with 6 other professors withdrew their candidacies due to numerous irregularities in the process.
We also talk to fellow journalist, Nikola Krstic, who is one of the journalists facing public lynching and labeling by pro-government tabloids.

Former Defense Minister, Radmila Sekerinska has been appointed Deputy Secretary General of NATO, making her the first Macedonian woman to hold a high position in the world’s most powerful military alliance. Sekerinska was at the helm of the ministry at the very moment when NATO accession took place, and her appointment can only be positive for our country – believes security expert and former advisor to the Ministry of Defense, Emir Hasanovic. We also discussed future expectations from the Alliance, as well as current European and global security issues.

This week, Labyrinth in Tbilisi at one of the biggest journalism events - the ZEG Festival. We had the opportunity to talk to journalists from all over the world about the current situation in their countries. We present you a series of interviews about the countries that are currently in the global focus.
We spoke with one of the keynote speakers at the event, a doctor who has dedicated her life to treating children in the most vulnerable places in the world, Seema Jilani. We talked about the great humanitarian catastrophe unfolding before our eyes, the Gaza Strip, and how we can help people cut off from all help. Seema also shared her personal experience of what it feels like to treat her own child injured in an explosion in Beirut.
The war in Ukraine is still raging, and since the coming to power of US President Donald Trump, Russian attacks on the Ukrainian capital seem to have increased. Meanwhile, in the Middle East, Israel and Iran are fiercely attacking each other. We talk about the situation in Ukraine and the current hot spots in the Middle East with Atlantic Council analyst Michael Bociurkiw, who regularly analyzes for CNN and other global media.
At the event, we also had the opportunity to talk with our colleague Adelin Pertisor from the Romanian public service, who is one of the most experienced war reporters. He reported on wars in the Middle East, Africa, as well as the Balkan conflicts and had the opportunity to interview a large number of leaders, but also some notorious militants such as Željko Ražnjatović - Arkan. Of course, we also talked about the situation in Romania after the annulled elections when the Constitutional Court recognized Russian influence in the electoral process.
Since Georgia got a new pro-Russian President who imposed a series of undemocratic laws, Georgians have been protesting every day. Media freedom and civil society are under attack, and journalists and citizens are facing prison sentences. We talk to Georgian colleague Giorgi Dolidze about what is happening in his country.
